Buoyancy Media: If you are a Ministry, Church, or Non-Profit look no further.

Who Are We?

Welcome to Buoyancy Media and Marketing, a Division of Buoyancy Ministries, a Christian Ministry that runs conferences, events to build awareness and church unity in various places, and also runs Buoyancy Entertainment a recording artist management, distribution, promotion, and booking label.

We are a professional media and design team that specializes in Church and Ministry Media and Websites,  as well as Non-Profit Organizations.  Many design and marketing companies miss it and try to treat a Church, Ministry, or non-profit like a business; however, we understand that they are fundamentally different.

As an organization you offer a service and stand for a cause. You are not trying to "sell your product".  If you are running an organization  you believe in your cause or that you are doing something to reach out to people.  If you are a church, you know that you are doing what God asked you to do, and nothing less.  For years as the son of a Pastor I watched so many people pitch advertising gimmicks that took God completely out of the equation, that is how I ended up here today.  I'm here to tell you we're putting him back in.

What we Do.

What we do here at Buoyancy media is build awareness about what you are doing, and allow the sincerity of it to bring people in.  Too many times the message, call, or cause we have is great-but no one knows about it.  In the Bible, even the disciples went to the public meeting places and professed their message.

Today there may not be an open forum in the center of town square, but there are: websites, postcards, brochures, events, etc.

It's not enough to just build a website to bring people into your organization anymore.  Website's are tools that we are responsible to use to reach people for the cause.  If we are not utilizing the ability to Blog, Stream Video, Social Network, and Connect through our websites, then we our leaving a valuable resource untapped.

We understand you.

Why?  Because I spent almost my whole life as the son of a Pastor, and now I run a ministry that tries to bring awareness to what is going on in local churches by giving them the opportunity to work together in running conferences, concerts, and other events.  I have been a young adult minister for the past 2 Years and have been on staff as the media director for church, 8 years ago I was part of the team that helped my uncle start his church, and today I am part of helping my Father start a new church in the coming months.  I worked for the Development office of one of the largest non-profits: The Salvation Army, and I still work part time for the Newburgh Performing Arts Academy's Lighthouse Program.

Basically I am one of you.  I volunteer my time, I work hard, and I try to reach as many people for the cause as I can.  One day, I was at college trying to help plan an event to reach out to families who were effected by and survivors of the Sept. 11th attacks.  It had effected my family personally and we were trying to reach out to people.  I was sitting in my dorm-taking English as my major- when I thought, "This is so frustrating, very few people really get what Churches and Non-profits are looking for in getting their message out there.  There just isn't enough good people willing to devote their entire business to this."  A few days later I changed my major to Media and Communications with a Minor in Graphics Design, and concentrations in Brodcast, Journalism, Communications, and  Marketing.

My first church website was for my uncles church, Hudson Valley Family Church, where I attended at the time.  Later on I did websites for a few other churches, until I realized that there was an even larger need to be met than I thought.  I came across people paying upward of 5,000 dollars to business for sites that I just couldn't see being worth that money.  I realized business and organizations just don't mix, that is why we are a division of a ministry.  We offer a service and offer our time, and you tell us what you can afford to give us because you beleive in what we are doing as a whole-in that order.  We will offer as much of our time and our services as we can possibly afford to, because to us it is a part of our service and our ministry.

It Can Be About More than a Website.

Many people are great at what they do, running their organization, being a pastor, or a traveling minister; however, they don't posses the ability to bring people into the great things they are doing on their own.  That is why our favorite service to offer is actually our ministry.  We find that launching a redesigned website, logo, and concepts in conjuction with an event, festival, or conference brings more awareness than any Marketing Tactic the business world can come up with.

For example, if your church is in Rocketown, and you have a great thing going and you just wish you could reach more people, or that your website and brochures really communicated your personality better.  We could just do a redesign, put it up, optimize it and still reach hundreds or even thousands more people than you ever have before.

Or we could  send our ministry team to Rocketown.  They specialize in event planning.  We could run a conference where I have people come in and do leadership training in the morning, and then do a mini-music festival at night or over a weekend.  Now your team of leaders who will be implementing your media push will be fired up, and can get some good sound training, and by all of the churches interested in supporting the Rocketown Music Festival working together, they will each see people they never would have seen otherwise.

Now when all of the advertising and buzz go around about the Rocketown Music Festival, and your church logo is one of the one's on the bottom of the flyer, you are doing more than just launching a new look and website.  You are showing people that you are involved, and you aren't some "place around the corner" but real people.

This is just one of the many ideas that we have seen work in the past, and there are many more.  Why?  Because I understand how this area works.

So check out some of our design samples, and think about giving us a call or sending us an email.  I am happy to work with you and talk with you about what you really want to get done.  The phone call is free, and any advice is free. As I said we are offering a service here.  I can't give you prices we charge for churches or non-profits, because we work like a guest speaker at a church.  We'll come in and offer a service, and it's up to you to take care of us however you are able.  Not because we are doing somethign for you, but because of what we reach out to people who would never have an option to do these things on their own every day.  If you want a point of reference because you don't know the industry, you can look at my business marketing page, and scroll down to web design, and I have a price list for the business sector.

Also if you are interested in having my ministry team come speak at your church or run a youth conference, mini-music festival, or other event please visit the buoyancy ministries page. Also if you are a recording artist, our label works hand in hand with our media department to allow you to keep your status as non-exlusive and independent, while still utilizing our experience in mangagement, promotions, booking, and distribution.

In Christ,

Matt M.
